Research on Dynamic Construction of Digital Lunar Base Based on 3D GIS

In the context of the development of manned lunar landing, lunar surface geographic information is the basis for lunar rover and astronauts to walk on the lunar surface, and its path navigation directly affects the personal safety of astronauts and the utilization of lunar surface resources. This paper aims at constructing a digital map of the lunar surface, combining the existing information of the lunar surface and geographic information system (GIS), and studies how to use the existing information base of the lunar surface map. A real-time digital map of lunar surface geographic resources, which integrates geographic resource query, map visualization, spatial statistical analysis, astronaut decision support and data sharing services, is further formed by using vehicle-mounted three-dimensional laser modeling to provide geographic resource information services with spatial analysis characteristics for future manned lunar surface autonomous navigation software.
