Hardware Development of IoT Based Solar Panel Cleaning System

Renewable energy is becoming the primary source of energy because of global warming, high prices of fuel and large capital investments. Solar PV system is gaining maximum of the market for residential, commercial and industrial consumers. PV panels require cleaning time and often to give maximum output. Manual cleaning become exhaustive when PV farms are on enormous scale. This research paper presents an IoT-based automatic solar panel cleaning system designed to mitigate efficiency losses caused by dust and dirt accumulation. By integrating advanced image processing, simulation, and control technologies, the system offers a robust solution for real-time monitoring and automated cleaning of solar panels. Utilizing a combination of MATLAB, Simulink, Arduino, AutoCAD, Fritzing, and Blynk, the system ensures optimal performance and maintenance of solar panels, thereby maximizing energy output and promoting sustainability.
