Harmonic Suppression Technology Based on Grid-Forming Control Considering the Influence of Background Voltage Harmonics

After the large-scale integration of new energy, the power grid will exhibit weak grid characteristics, which will lead to prominent issues of inertia and harmonics in the power grid. Existing literature mainly focuses on studying the improvement of power grid stability through grid control, with less research on harmonic problems. This paper addresses the issue of the interaction between background voltage harmonics and load current harmonics in weak power grids. Through impedance reshaping, a harmonic suppression technology based on grid-forming control is proposed to achieve synergistic optimization of voltage quality and grid current quality. The correctness of the proposed method was verified through simulation.
