Design of Solar Tracking Solarux Fresnel CSP System and Manufacturing Small Scale Model of the System by 3D Printer

Within the scope of this project, the design and production of a small-scale model of the Concentrated Solar Power technology will be reviewed. Solar Tracking Solarux Fresnel CSP System is designed to increase the efficiency of the overall system and shorten the payback period of investment. Design and optimization of the system is done via Solidworks and it is manufactured via 3D printing technology, which enables fast and easy and low-cost production for parts with complex geometry. Parts of the system were analyzed for actual dimensions and 1:10 scale dimensions, and it was ensured to verify whether the designs met the desired mechanical and thermal properties. Small scale model of the system is manufactured by using PLA filament on a 3D printer, as it enables to low-cost and fast production.
