Non-Invasive Assessment of Hydration Status Using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis

This paper investigates a detailed experiment measuring human body impedance to assess hydration status. The primary goal of the study is to develop a non-invasive method for monitoring hydration through body impedance analysis and to demonstrate the practical applicability of this method in the biomedical field. The experiment integrates a prototype using the XR2206 function generator, LM324 operational amplifier, and Arduino Nano to capture and analyze impedance variations. The focus was on capturing impedance variations using strategically placed electrodes. The results show a clear correlation between hydration levels and body impedance, supporting the potential of this method for hydration status evaluation.
