Stand for testing the lifetime of an automotive electronic module

The paper presents a solution for creating a life time test stand, LTT (Life Time Tester), for an automotive electronic module, mounted on a vehicle. The requirements based on which the stand architecture was designed and the motivation for choosing the hardware components are presented. The software resources were chosen to enable the implementation and validation of automated test sequences. The specificity of testing the operation in extreme conditions led to the use of a multithreading structure for the implementation of the test sequences. The method of processing the results and generating the test reports followed the requirements of the standards.
