Blurred Image Restoration CMOS Image Sensor Circuit Design

In conventional Time Delayed Integration(TDI) image sensors, the sensor is prone to vibration due to interference, which makes the exposure information of each row of pixels unsynchronized, thus leading to image distortion and blurring. In order to solve the image blurring problem, this paper proposes an analog-domain blurred image restoration(BIR) algorithm by investigating the working principle of the TDI CMOS image sensor (CIS) and why sensor vibration leads to image blurring. Then, the algorithm is modeled in MATLAB and the feasibility of the algorithm is verified. After that, the circuit structure of the algorithm implementation was designed according to the principle of the algorithm. Finally, the circuit simulation required for the BIR algorithm is completed using the 0.11µm CMOS process.
