A High-Precision Broadband Quadrature Signal Generation Circuit Based on 130nm BiCMOS

In this paper, a high-precision wideband quadrature signal generation circuit is implemented based on 130nm BiCMOS. The circuit is composed of two three-stage polyphase filters, a buffer amplifier added between the two polyphase filters to compensate for the loss and a limiting amplifier at the end. In the range of 0.4GHz-8GHz, the phase error between the I channel and Q channel signals is less than 0.3° and the amplitude error of that is less than 0.005dB.
