A Fast Modeling Method for Large Metallic Periodic Arrays with Variable Parameters

A fast modeling method for metallic periodic arrays with variable parameters is proposed. This method accelerates the solution process by generating a reduced method of moments (MoM) equation using characteristic mode basis functions (CMBF). Additionally, it speeds up the reduced matrix construction process by separating parameters through the empirical interpolation method (EIM). In this paper, the examples of parameter changes in array element size and frequency are presented, with numerical simulations verifying the accuracy and efficiency of our proposed method.
