Power Analysis Method of Signal Components Based on Power Amplifier Behavior Model

A method is proposed to analyze the power of the power amplifier (PA) output signal components. This method involves generating PA output signals using a memory polynomial (MP) model and then calculating the cross-correlation function of the PA input and output signals within the corresponding working bandwidth in the frequency domain. Finally, the spectrum of linear and nonlinear components can be obtained. To demonstrate the robustness of the proposed method, the PA output signal components is analyzed under constant/non-constant envelope signal stimulation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified through comparative simulation and experiments.
