Heterogeneous FEM for Analysis of Electromagnetic Scattering on Tianhe Supercomputer

The paper implements the parallelization of the finite element method and deploys it on Tianhe next-generation high-performance supercomputer. Based on edge-based finite element, a Message Passing Interface (MPI) parallel strategy for distributed storage of local matrices is designed. Additionally, a communication strategy is proposed to reduce vector communication volume in the sparse matrix-vector multiplication (SpMV) operations involved in iterative solvers.
