Windows or Linux - the Most Suitable Platform to Run the GNS3

The purpose of this work is to verify the claim, circulating in specialized technology forums, that using GNS3 under Linux is more performant and achieves higher data rates in the modeled network. For the purpose of this study, two different IP network models have been made to study different scenarios. The two models run on two operating systems - Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24. Thus, it will be possible to compare the obtained results from the modelled networks and verify the claim that under Linux the exchange rates in the modelled networks in GNS3 are higher.
