Research on Processing Precision of Multi-Frequency Plasma CNC Machining Centers

Common plasma cutting CNC machine tools are significantly affected by the plasma power supply output current ripple and machine tool dynamic characteristics when cutting large-area steel plates. The dynamic characteristics of the machine tool can be determined through machine tool contact stress simulation. This paper uses ANSYS to conduct contact stress simulation on the three major components of multi-frequency plasma cutting CNC machine tools (multi-frequency plasma cutting head components, machine bed and crossbeam). The results indicate that the maximum deformation of the machine tool along the Z-axis during operation is $57.91\mu \mathrm{m}$, indicating poor dynamic characteristics of the machine tool. After optimizing the bed structure, the amount of machine tool deformation decreased to $22.75\mu\mathrm{m}$, thereby improving the machine tool's processing accuracy and deformation resistance. Comparative analysis with relevant standards shows that the optimized machine tool accuracy exceeds the standards of relevant CNC cutting machine tools.
