Construction of the Intersection Lines of a Sheet Material Transition and Design of the Unfolding of its Surface

This report presents a comprehensive review of transitions depending on the mutual location of the foundations of the sections, as well as the construction of transitions of the same cross-section and different sizes, with different sections and placement. In order to optimize the section, two cases of construction of inextensible surfaces based on the specified algorithm were designed and analyzed: expansion of an inextensible surface of the type of the second and higher degree and expansion of a transition between sections of different types and shapes with variable sizes. Based on the obtained results of the research, a three-dimensional model of the device for obtaining a transition from sheet material was designed.
