Performance Analysis of nRF24L01 Wireless Module

In modern era communication of data relays on several technologies. The wireless transmission and reception of, the data from one place to another depends on several aspects such as data rate, data size, bandwidth, distance of transmission and reliability and security in the network. Most of the short-range transmission of data lies in radio frequency bands near to 2.4GHz. The transmission and reception of data lies in modulation and demodulation of the signal. More complicated and sophisticated system relies in data transmission in RF spectrum, such as remote-controlled appliances, RF transmitter and receivers in vehicles lock mechanism, short range devices such as environment data acquisition system, wild life monitoring stations and battery-operated wireless sensor networks. The need of these RF modules grows day by day and electronic manufacturing market invest more to develop, maintain and update existing technology. In this work we have tested this module under different parameter settings, environmental conditions, and different distance transfer including with barrier and without barrier, also in rainy and winter conditions. Under these circumstances, the range and operation of the module varies due to some factors. We obtained different range results under different conditions. Our work summarizes the aspects and features of nRF24L01 module.
