A Time- and Wavelength-Division Multiplexed Weak FBG Array Interrogation System Based on Tunable REC-DFB Laser Array

A time- and wavelength-division multiplexed interrogation system for weak fiber Bragg grating (WFBG) array based on the tunable reconstruction-equivalent-chirp distributed feedback (REC-DFB) laser array is introduced. This system can simultaneously and accurately acquire the sensing positions and achieve reflection spectra of multiple identical WFBG array with various central wavelengths, enhancing FBG interrogation accuracy and capacity while reducing the system cost.
