Time-to-Failure Risk-Based Handover Algorithm for Optical Satellite Networks

This paper addresses the issue of frequent link handovers by proposing a Risk-based Handover Algorithm in optical networks. Results show that the proposed can reduce the handover rate by 27.8% compared with Breadth First Search(BFS).
