Performance Improvement of DFT-s OFDM Systems Leveraging Non-Orthogonal Matrix Precoding

The non-orthogonal matrix precoding (NOM-p) is proposed to avoid signal-to-noise ratio dips in discrete-Fourier-transform spread (DFT-s) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. Simulation results verify its performance superiority over the conventional DFT-s OFDM and the recently reported chirp-like polyphase sequence (CLPS) precoded scheme.
