Influence of Azimuth Velocity of Moving Target on Parameter Estimation

For airborne multichannel synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems, the additional spatial degrees of freedom facilitate the detection and relocation of slow-moving targets. In this paper, we derive the multichannel SAR-GMTI signal expression and analyze the impact of channel equalization and azimuthal velocity on the parameter estimation of moving targets. Furthermore, to address the issue of the degradation of parameter estimation caused by target defocusing, we propose a two-dimensional parameter estimation algorithm. Simulation analyses confirm the correctness of the theoretical derivations and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
