A Novel Auxiliary cell based Improved Quadratic High Gain DC-DC Converter with MPPT Control

To address the challenge posed by the presence of a transformer, this particular paper introduces a novel auxiliary cell based quadratic DC-DC converter designed to maximize power extraction from solar PV systems and boost the voltage to align with the DC-bus requirements. The study includes practical analysis of the IV and PV characteristics of solar PV cells, as well as mathematical modeling, which has been implemented in the proposed high-gain converter. The simulation for this study was conducted using PSCAD/EMTDC software and performance of this proposed converter have been analyzed and presented in detail.
