Design of Fruit Quality Recognition System

The process of fruit picking by intelligent robots requires the screening of the fruit's appearance. A digital image processing algorithm is proposed to comprehensively analyze and evaluate the fruit's appearance information, including size and color. This analysis is then combined with flexible transmission methods to effectively classify the fruits. The system is controlled by two masters, with Raspberry PI serving as the upper computer for image information acquisition and processing, VNC remote connection, and human-computer interface. The other system is the STM32 minimal system, which is equipped with FreeRTOS for motor and lamp control, temperature and humidity acquisition, as well as system information display. It efficiently accomplishes the task of fruit recognition and classification with speed and accuracy.
