Features of the Hybrid Generation Mode Control During Its Integration into the Electric Network of the Centralized Electric Power System

In connection with the modern development of electric power systems and the mass appearance of new technical elements in power system structure, the study of the influence of small generation on the modes of energy systems is relevant. The development of basic requirements and rules for controlling hybrid generation during its integration into the electric grid of a high-power electric power system is an urgent technical task. The article provides the concept of electronic and hybrid generation and briefly presents the methods of controlling electronic generation in distribution electric networks. For high-power hybrid generation as part of Minigrid, it is necessary to develop algorithms for the upper intelligent control loop that implements adaptive control (selection of laws and settings based on the identification of state classes of an external object and its operating parameters). Ensuring safe operation of small hybrid generation in the electric grid of an external electric power system with decentralized automatic mode and emergency control of Minigrid is possible only with special system automation. At the same time, Minigrid automation must monitor the conditions of self-balancing for stability, determine surpluses and needs for resources to ensure it, form orders and offers for resource receipt and provision. The article formulates the basic requirements and rules for implementation in hybrid generation control algorithms.
