Methodology of Adaptive Regulation of Data Transmission Rate in Wireless Networks

Adaptive data rate control is critical for reliable communication in a crowded spectrum, which is relevant in the era of the growth of the Internet of Things. The article describes a data transmission system based on nRF24 radio modules in the 2.4 GHz range using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi Pico platforms. The purpose of the study is to develop a data transmission system for a mesh network based on nRF24 radio modules operating in the 2.4 GHz range, with adaptive control of the data transmission rate. The tasks include selecting and configuring hardware components (Arduino and Raspberry Pi Pico platforms), developing software using the Arduino IDE, and testing the system under various operating conditions. The results showed that adaptive change in data rate and packet length significantly improves network performance and stability in a crowded spectrum. The EBYTE E01-2G4M27D radio modules have demonstrated high efficiency and stability. Thus, the proposed system is a promising solution for creating reliable and cost-effective mesh networks in the field of Internet of Things, providing an optimal balance between performance and reliability.
