Design and Implementation of Receiver RF Module Based on MAX2771

With the completion of GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and GALILEO navigation systems, the navigation and positioning technology has gradually developed toward multi-frequency and multi-system convergence. The RF module directly affects the baseband signal processing of the receiver. In recent years, the design and requirements of the RF module tend to be miniaturized, integrated, and cost-effective. In this paper, Maxim's multi-band universal GNSS receiver MAX2771 is used as the core of the RF module. According to the navigation signal receiving design requirements, the circuit design and parameter test of the RF module are completed. Through the satellite signal acquisition program developed by MATLAB platform, the verification RF module can realize satellite signal acquisition of GPS L1 and similar frequency points BDS B1 and GPS L2C, which is suitable for signal processing of navigation receiver.
