Enhancing Security in Multicasting Employing Generalized Receiver with MRC Diversity and Opportunistic Relaying Techniques

This paper focuses on a secure wireless multi-casting under the employment of generalized receiver along with maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity technique using opportunistic relaying technique. MRC diversity technique and opportunistic relaying technique mitigate the fading effect significantly and the generalized receiver is flexible to adaptive signal processing. The authors want to protect the transmitted signal from eavesdropping considering the effect of number of relays, receive side antenna number, eavesdropper side antenna number, multicast user number and eavesdropper number. In this issue the authors derived the closed form analytical expression for probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity (PNSMC) and secure outage probability for multicasting (SOPM) to ensure the secrecy in the presence of multiple eavesdroppers. These mathematical models are helpful to to realize the insight of the effects of aforementioned parameters. The numerical results show that, security in multicast network employing generalized receiver with MRC diversity technique is significantly affected by the number of relay, receive antenna, eavesdropper antenna, multicast user and eavesdropper, specially at low noise power region of eavesdropper.
