Photophoretic asymmetry vector and forces exerted on spherical particles by Frozen Waves using the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory

Longitudinal and transverse components of the photophoretic asymmetry vector are theoretically investigated for nondiffracting structured fields—known as Frozen Waves— illuminating dielectric micro-spheres using the generalized Lorenz-Mie theory. The results offer insights into applications such as optical trapping and manipulation of microparticles.
