An Improved Path Planning Algorithm for Ship Track Planning Based on Grey Wolf Algorithm

In view of the research status of traditional track planning methods, which only consider the safety and efficiency of single ship, this paper proposes a multi-ship planning method based on MP-GWO model. The multi-population algorithm solves the problem of convergence and stability of the traditional grey Wolf algorithm when solving multi-feature function, which is easy to fall into the local optimal solution, and realizes the accurate planning of ship track. With the ship's starting and ending point position, Angle, speed, distance, number of navigation points, cooperative distance and time as inputs, the simulation environment is constructed by constructing various threat functions, and the established MP-GWO model is used to process the input and output data to obtain the optimal route planning, so as to solve the problems of complexity and cooperative benefits in the process of multi-ship cooperative navigation. The results are compared with the traditional grey Wolf algorithm and the grey Wolf optimization algorithm with cuckoo search. Simulation experiments in MATLAB prove the rationality and effectiveness of MP-GWO for track planning.
