Queueing Theoretical Approach and Markov Modeling Employed in Multiple Charging Stations of Electric Vehicle Networks

The use of electric automobiles, or rather EVs, represents both an opportunity and a challenge in transportation and energy systems. This study investigates the effectiveness of the number and locations of EV charging stations using Markovian modeling while emphasizing the objective reality of demand growth and the need for a highly developed charging infrastructure. Abandonment, the tendency of individuals to leave a queue because of waiting for a long time, has implications on both system efficiency and individual perception. Thus, this research applies the queueing theoretical approach and stochastic models to improve charging stations through feedback mechanisms and abandonment to control queues. Based on the analysis of various models and charging strategies, this research aims to propose effective solutions for EV charging infrastructure and its associated issues. It provides information that can help improve the services' efficiency and create more effective strategies for the ever-growing EV market.
