Multi-Terminal Cooperative AIoT Smart Agriculture System Based on Growth Prediction Model

Agriculture plays a fundamental role in sustaining human existence. In comparison to the past century, modern agricultural technology has witnessed rapid advancements today. Given the exponential growth of population and the adverse effects of extreme weather conditions, effectively enhancing crop yields remains an imperative issue that demands global attention. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now extensively employed in contemporary agriculture, particularly for tasks such as computer vision-based sorting. Additionally, Internet of Things (IoT) represents another innovative technology applied in farming practices, enabling data collection on soil composition and other relevant factors. This paper presents a novel approach by integrating these two technologies into modern agricultural applications through the development of an AIoT agricultural system. The system facilitates the collection and synchronization of plant growth and environmental status data via IoT subsystems to both edge devices and cloud platforms. These collected data are subsequently utilized to train plant growth models within the cloud environment, thereby optimizing planting strategies and ultimately achieving intelligent cultivation.
