Hardware Power Decoupling Method of Two-DC-Port Dual-Active-Bridge Microinverter

With the rapid growth of rooftop photovoltaics, microinverters are attracting increasing attention. The dual-active-bridge microinverters are widely used for the advantages of wider ZVS range, fewer switches and simpler control over other topologies. The use of multiport structure on DC side can further reduce the cost. However, the power circulation between DC ports will affect the efficiency and life cycle. In this paper, the two-DC-port microinverter is taken as an example, and the conditions to achieve power decoupling are analyzed from the perspective of branch impedance. This paper proposes a hardware power decoupling method by configuring the parameters of leakage inductance and filter capacitance and verifies it by simulation.
