DC Microgrid for Renewable Applications Taking Into Account the Load Dynamics

In today's engineering world, with the advancement of renewable resources, microgrids have received much attention. In this paper, in order to increase the number of distributed generation modules, a system consisting of three distributed generations considering dynamic loads is studied. Instead of a simple resistor, a boost DC-DC converter is considered for the load. A passivity control with a droop voltage control approach controls the entire system's stability. The simulation of the system, along with its controllers, is performed through the Simulink platform in MATLAB software. Several different scenarios are taken into account to obtain the presented results.
