Comparative Experimental Study of Voltage Waveform Influences on Ozone Production Efficiency

The use of DBD reactors for ozone production has been prevalent for decades, and numerous studies have been conducted since the emergence of this reactor type, aiming to enhance the production process and energy efficiency, This study investigates how different voltage shapes (triangular, rectangular, and sinusoidal) affect a cylindrical ozone generator with a DBD reactor. The system's efficacy is determined by calculating the ozone concentration produced and analyzing its energy efficiency., The applied voltage(0-9kv) and frequency(100 - 1,1khz) were taken as control factors in the study, The results obtained have demonstrated the superiority of the triangular voltage waveform in terms of ozone production and energy efficiency.
