Connecting Care: An IoT-Based T-Health Monitoring System for Rural India

The automated T-Health monitoring system is designed to enhance healthcare delivery in rural India, where access to medical services is often limited due to a shortage of healthcare professionals at public health centres (PHCs). By leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) technology, the system monitors essential physiological parameters such as pulse rate, blood pressure, and glucose levels, facilitating remote communication between patients and healthcare providers. Collected health data is transmitted to a cloud database, enabling timely medical interventions. In emergency situations, the system automatically notifies a tele-ambulance service equipped with necessary medical resources for immediate care. This innovative approach addresses the challenges posed by inadequate healthcare infrastructure and aims to improve health outcomes and access to medical services, ultimately transforming the landscape of healthcare in rural areas of India.
