Design of Wireless Drip Alarm System Based on 51 Single-Chip Microcomputer

The acquisition, analysis and control of sensing signals are important fundamental aspects of embedded design. With the continuous progress of embedded technology, the application of alarm system based on single-chip microcomputer has developed from simplification to diversification. However, there is still a lack of monitoring means for medical equipment usage. This paper studies the workflow of the common drip system in the hospital, and designs and implements a wireless drip alarm system based on infrared drip sensor module, 51 single-chip microcomputer system module and SIM800 C instruction module. This system adopts drip alarm based on infrared sensor and 51 single chip microcomputer. The infrared sensor module monitors the working of the solution dripper and warns the possible risks through the buzzer module, while the alarm information can be automatically sent to the cell phone of relevant personnel by SIM800C module. Compared to traditional capacitive sensor methods based on contact with liquids, alarm systems using infrared sensor modules do not contaminate solutions, are simple to operate, reduce potential health risks to patients due to infusion problems, and reduce the cost of the alarm system.
