Orderlikey: Smart Kiosk Ordering System for F&B Sustainable Operation

Orderlikey is an innovative web-kiosk system specifically designed for implementation at FK kiosks, with a primary focus on minimizing errors and reducing processing times. By offering real-time data on menu options and kiosk status, Orderlikey achieves its core goal of streamlining operations and reducing inefficiencies. Building on existing technological advancements in the F&B sector, this study uniquely addresses the specific challenges faced by FK Kiosks through the development of Orderlikey. This system uniquely integrates Self-Order System (SOS), Point of Sale (POS), and Kitchen Display System (KDS) technologies, tailored for a university kiosk environment—a combination not previously explored. Utilizing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the project progressed through module identification, the creation of a mobile-web adjunct application, and thorough user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring adaptability and continuous improvement. The implementation of Orderlikey is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of kiosk operations at FK, promising improved user satisfaction and contributing to a sustainable and transformed user environment through its user-centered, innovative approach.
