Hydro-Thermal-Wind-Photo Voltaic Energy Scheduling Optimized With the Osprey Optimization Technique

This investigation provides an effective wind and solar power (PV) system integration solution for the hydrothermal generation scheduling (HTS) challenge. With the objective to bring down the aggregate fuel cost of thermal units, the power system blends both wind and solar energy. This study employs the wind and PV power integration system to cope with the HTS problem using the Osprey optimization algorithm (OOA). The suggested approach incorporates the effect of the thermal unit on valve-point loading also resolves test systems with various parameters. The test system consists of hydro and thermal components, which include solar and wind power generating units, in order to investigate the effects of renewable energy sources. The outcome of the model is compared with other investigated strategies. Compared to previous optimization techniques used to address the STHS problem, it is discovered that the suggested approach is better and can produce the best results.
