Developing Sensor of a Water Level Control Prototype Using Fuzzy Logic Based on Soil Moisture Levels with Internet of Things Integration

High rainfall in Indonesia increases the risk of flooding, especially in irrigation areas. Overcoming flooding and standing water can be maintained by using water control automation tools. This automation tool adopts the fuzzy logic method to determine the ideal water level, the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure the water level, the YL69 soil moisture sensor to measure soil moisture, and a submersible pump to actuate the water. After the fuzzy logic determines the ideal water level, the submersible pump will respond according to the results obtained. If the water level is below the perfect water level, the submersible pump will add water to the container. Conversely, if the water level exceeds the ideal, the submersible pump will reduce the volume of water in the container. The fuzzy logic used is Mamdani fuzzy logic with an accuracy rate of 96,022%. The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor used has a water level measurement accuracy of 90.003% and the YL69 soil moisture sensor used has a measurement accuracy of 96,906%.
