Design of a Cloud-Native and Highly Available Method and Device for Electricity Spot Market Clearing Based on Breakpoint Recovery

The electricity spot market clearing method is key to ensuring optimal short-term operation of the power grid. However, once the current algorithm is interrupted during execution, it often needs to be recalculated, resulting in a waste of computing resources and prolonged response time. This paper proposes a power spot market clearing method and equipment based on breakpoint algorithm, and expands and improves the fault-tolerance mechanism and data persistence. By refining and persisting the algorithm execution phase and designing a corresponding breakpoint recovery device, the system can recover from the most recent calculation phase after an interruption, significantly improving the algorithm’s disaster recovery capabilities. When an interruption occurs during computing, the system can resume from the most recent computing stage, thereby improving overall computing efficiency and system reliability. In addition, this article introduces an improved data persistence mechanism, combined with cloud native database and blockchain technology, to improve data consistency and recovery speed in large-scale failure scenarios. The fault-tolerance mechanism extends the application of multi-active disaster recovery technology to enhance the system Adaptability under wide-area failure or network security attack scenarios. This method has significant advantages in improving system availability in the electricity market.
