Intelligent Planning Method for “Big Branch” of Feeder Considering Pipeline-Grid Coupling Intelligent Planning of Distribution Network

Due to the lack of effective intelligent planning methods, distribution networks planning has to heavily rely on manual planning, resulting in low efficiency. Here, we propose an intelligent planning method for “big branch” problem. Firstly, a coupling model between the pipeline and the power grid is constructed. Then, A fast method for diagnosing and locating large branches is proposed based on the practical guidelines for distribution networks planning. Subsequently, the hippopotamus optimization algorithm (HOA) and the single source shortest path algorithm are used to generate a renovation plan for the “big branch” problem. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified on a real distribution network example.
