Development of Data Acquisition Device for Retrieval and Recording of Acoustic Wave

Acquisition data modules in the field of acoustics with a high degree of accuracy are relatively expensive and difficult to obtain. The research aims to design and manufacture data acquisition using a microcontroller at a relatively cheap price and easy to obtain. This will make it easier for researchers to collect and record research data in the field of acoustics. The controller component in this study uses the Arduino UNO R3 micro controller. The microcontroller functions as a transducer programmer. Raw data results from data acquisition are then displayed on a computer and can be recorded using PLX-DAQ Microsoft Excel. Raw data is displayed for a fraction of a second. Acoustic wave data acquisition has been calibrated, and the tool is ready to be used for data retrieval and recording. The results are that in one second, the acquisition can read and record 60 pressure amplitude data in kilopascals (kPa).
