Design and Application of Primary and Secondary Separation Low Voltage Switches for New Power System

With the rapid development of new energy and the widespread integration of new energy consuming equipment, the operational characteristics of the power system have undergone significant changes, which require coordinated research and solutions. Low voltage distribution intelligent switch is an important component of distribution automation construction, mainly used in distribution station areas. This paper proposes a new type of power system oriented primary and secondary separated low-voltage switch, and studies the technical route of the switch, including the research and construction of object-oriented equipment model technology and distribution network fault research and judgment based on multi-source information fusion. Then, it studies the software and hardware implementation of the switch, and finally proposes a primary and secondary separated low-voltage intelligent switch with edge computing functions such as line fault protection, power quality monitoring, new energy monitoring, etc. Endowing low-voltage intelligent switches with edge computing capabilities helps to achieve line branch acquisition, fault diagnosis, topology discovery, line loss analysis and other capabilities, which is conducive to improving the level of grid intelligence and promoting the construction of new power systems.
