Implementation of Vue.Js Framework for Front-End Development: A Study Case of Employee Information System

The Basic Education Council and Non-Formal Secondary Education PDM Sleman manually handles school data using Microsoft Excel, including information about teachers and staff. This study aims to create an Employee Information System for PDM Sleman by utilizing Vue.js to improve efficiency and accessibility. The solution facilitates updating employees' information using smartphones and other devices, simplifying operations for a substantial user base. Development adheres to agile approaches, encompassing key stages such as product backlog, sprint cycles, and testing. The system facilitates two primary user roles, namely employees and administrators, spanning 10 menus. These menus encompass personal data, documents, positions, education, training, career history, family information, achievements, performance assessment, and profiles. Users can add, alter, and delete data, while administrators are responsible for guaranteeing the accuracy of the data. The system's readiness is confirmed by positive results obtained from black-box testing. Future improvements intend to offer role-specific authorization, such as granting school principals the ability to oversee the personnel rosters of their respective schools. This research greatly enhances the effectiveness of data management for PDM Sleman.
