Single-switch Inverter WPT System for Powering Equipment on Rotating Shafts

To address the issues of large size and high cost in traditional power supply devices for rotating shafts, this paper proposes a wireless power transfer (WPT) system for devices on a rotating shaft, utilizing a single-switch inverter circuit with a compact magnetic coupler. The ferrite material used on the receiving side of the magnetic coupler has been optimized. Experimental and simulation results verify that the proposed WPT system offers stable output and low cost while reducing the size and material usage.
