AUTOSAR-Enabled Throttle Position Sensor Testing and Analysis using MATLAB

Investigating the effectiveness of simulation- based and physical implementation methods for Throttle Position Sensor measurement, this research conducts a comparative analysis of both approaches. Initially, the TPS is simulated using AUTOSAR Block-set within MATLAB, facilitating virtual testing and analysis. The simulation yields valuable insights into the TPS behavior under various conditions. Subsequently, an Arduino-based system is utilized to physically implement the TPS using a servomotor for angle measurement. This real-world validation enables a direct comparison between simulation and physical implementation, offering insights into the feasibility and efficacy of both approaches for TPS measurement. The study's findings hold crucial significance for the automobile industry, providing guidance on the optimal approach for TPS measurement in various applications.
