Molecular Mechanisms Of Beta-Amyloid Blockage Under The Action Of Natural Compounds And Its Nanoformulations

Amyloidosis represents serious disease caused by the amyloid protein deposition in many tissues and organs, including heart, brain, vessels, nerves, etc. Protein deposition drastically changes the functionality of the organs and systems, leading in its abnormal functions and even death. To inhibit or decelerate the deposition several natural small molecules can be used. In this paper such natural small molecules and its molecular mechanisms are considered. The developed drug delivery systems for tafamidis and diflunisal based on biosafe as well as biodegradable polymer matrix such as hyaluronic acid are also presented.
