Thermal Denaturation of IgE Molecules Visualized by Atomic Force Microscopy

In this paper, the process of thermal denaturation of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) molecules was visualized and characterized by atomic force microscopy (AFM). It was found that high temperature and heating conditions make IgE molecules lose their natural structure, causing them to aggregate and form flower-like morphologies with high middle and low sides. In addition, the height and area of IgE aggregates were proportional to both temperature and heating time. These results not only provide a basis for us to understand the thermal denaturation process of IgE, but also provide valuable reference information for studying the influence of external factors on protein molecules.
