Voltage Stabilizer Based on Flexible DC to Compensate for Terminal Voltage

The normality of user-end voltage is very important. With the development of the economy, addressing the issue of low voltage on the user side caused by continuously increasing loads has become a current research hotspot. This paper considers a low voltage governance device based on a flexible DC transmission system. This device features power factor correction and can effectively reduce line losses. Firstly, a model and control strategy for the boost PFC rectifier circuit at the front end and the inverter circuit at the back end are established. Secondly, the rationality of the model and control strategy is analyzed using Bode plots. Finally, simulation and experimental verification are conducted. The results show that this device can effectively address the low voltage problem on the user side and improve system voltage stability.
