Research and Design of Direct-hanging Cascaded Energy Storage Converter Based on Power-current Control

A direct-hanging cascaded energy storage converter based on power-current double-loop control is studid in this paper, including the design of the energy storage converter and the power-current double-loop control strategy. The design parameters are determined and optimized through comprehensive analysis of Matlab/Simulink simulations. Furthermore, a low-voltage direct-mounted stage Fed converter system platform is constructed and tested, a good agreement is observed between the simulations and measurements, effectively validates the design of the direct-hanging cascaded energy storage system based on power-current double loop control, and its effectiveness in control and adjustment of the active and reactive powers in real time.
