High-Bandwidth Thin-Film Lithium Niobate Electro-Optic Modulator with an Low-Loss Edge Face Couplers

We successfully prepared monolithically integrated TFLN electro-optic modulators that feature a low-loss edge face couplers, support data rates up to 110GHz and fiber-chip coupling loss of 0.35 dB/facet. Our study high lights the potential of the proposed modulators for high-performance optical communication systems.
