Analysis of the Maximum Temperature in a Locality of the Coastal Area of the Gulf of Mexico during the Cold front Season From 1981 To 2021

The behavior of the meteorological variable Maximum Temperature (Tmax) was analyzed by regression analysis, ANOVA, Tukey's test and statistical models, in the range of values from January 1 to April 30 and from November 01 to December 31 of the time period from 1981 to 2021. Being able to compare the results of these analyses with the visual results presented by the graphs for the daily use of human beings, could provide a clearer vision of the historical behavior of the Tmax at the local level in the Veracruz-Boca del Río Conurbation Zone (ZCVB) and the forecast of its future behavior. Therefore, a mathematical and statistical analysis is presented, together with the graphic support that allows to determine the behavior of this variable. This analysis allows us to find that the behavior pattern of the Tmax variable presents a positive trend and although it does not reach the value of 30°C towards the end of the analyzed period (2021), it does show a behavior that shows that this limit will be reached in the not-too-distant future. The regression analysis with its corresponding residuals, allowed us to observe a forecast with also ascending characteristics and a positive trend of the slope. Therefore, it can be said that the graphical analysis and mathematical analysis of the variable Tmax is reliable to determine the constant and continuous increase of this in the ZCVB.
